Overview

A pleasant undulating walk from Terrington village.

Heading south for a couple of miles on the Ebor Way, with good views towards Sheriff Hutton Castle, before turning NE we go uphill to High Stittenham village. Continuing, now briefly on the Centenary Way we go through Ganthorpe hamlet, followed by a steady ascent to the top of Fryton Woods,. After admiring views into North York Moors we turn west for a mile or so and then downhill on the Centenary Way back to Terrington.

Walking is on field edge broad tracks and woodland paths. Poles will be useful for a couple of hills.
