Overview

A 10 mile moderate walk starting from Wootton St Lawrence Church. The walk mainly uses ancient downland tracks with some narrower paths ways through woodland and field footpaths, climbing up to Ibworth, then an undulating route looping through North Oakley and Malshanger. Wonderful views guaranteed. 
There will be two food and drink pauses.

Bring enough food and drink as there are no water or shops along the way.

Being a country walk, be prepared for some hedgerow ‘prickles’, root hazards, slippery chalk surfaces [if wet or rained recently], and being early September be prepared for changeable weather.
