Overview

In the morning, the walk goes east towards Sevenoaks Weald before turning south to Bore Place and on to Charcott where we stop for lunch.  About 5½ miles gently downhill.

Lunch is either at the excellent Greyhound pub for real ale lovers or on the tiny green just by the pub for picnickers.

Pub lunchers please note - the Greyhound want our lunch order in advance so be ready to make your choice before the walk starts.  Our order has to be emailed by 10 o'clock so the start may be delayed while that is done.

You can find the menu at the link further down.  Alternatively, please contact the leader on 0794 821 2327 for a PDF copy.  It would be very helpful if you were able to text me your order before Wednesday morning.  (And if you have any tweaks such as rice or chips/white or brown bread don't forget to mention them!)

In the afternoon, we skirt Bough Beech reservoir and on to Henden Manor before going up via Boarhill and back to the car park.  A little over 5 miles with 360 feet of ascent, mostly after Henden Manor.
