We are the Mid Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

From the National Trust, Westwood Manor, we will walk down to Avoncliff and the Aquaduct, then up to Turleigh and along a track to re-join the Kennet and Avon canal to the outskirts of Limpley Stoke. We will then walk along quiet lanes, and fields to Freshford station, and on to Freshford Mill, before returning to Westwood alongside the river Frome and along quiet lanes, passing Iford Manor. Undulating walk with some steep ascents.
Expect stiles and some mud. Sticks may also be useful. There may be livestock en route. Bring refreshments for one stop. We will be back for lunch.
