Overview

From Narlows Lane we descend via Lin Dale and cross the River Dove using the stepping stones. An undulating path takes us over to Ilam Hall.

Having walked alongside the river we ascend steeply up the hillside heading above Hinckley Wood towards Hazleton Clump.

The route then follows an undulating path with 5 more ascents and descents retuning via Coldwell bridge and Thorpe.

Take note …about 1500 ft of ascent and descent.
