We are the Balerno Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An easy walk from Currie, going up the Poet's Glen to Easter Kinleith Farm, round Clubbiedean Reservoir, and back to Currie via Kirkgate.
The route is mainly on paths and quiet roads, but it may be muddy round Clubbiedean, and the path through the Poets Glen is uneven. Wear boots or sturdy trainers, and bring gaiters and poles if you use them. You might want to bring a snack and a drink.
Note that the 44 bus stops at the Pentland View Carpark. Bus stop is called 'Pentland View Court'.
