Meet in Keswick to get the bus to the start of the walk at the Ladore Falls Hotel, walk up the Borrowdale Valley, through the Jaws of Borrowdale, visiting Millican Dalton's Cave and finishing in Rosthwaite
Regular buses back to Keswick. If you are lucky enough to get an open top bus, sit upstairs on the drivers side and watch out for overhanging branches. It can be quite a roller coaster ride.
In Rosthwaite there is the excellent Flock-Inn Tearoom or the equally good Scafell Hotel and Riverside Bar.
