Overview

A flat walk along the Kennet & Avon canal, as far as the Oracle (7 miles), or to the end at the Thames (8.2 miles). Park at Theale station and return by train from Reading (12 & 33 mins past the hour), or travel both ways by train, catching the 10:12 from Reading, arriving at Theale at 10:20.
