Join this walk to explore the surprisingly remote countryside and deep valleys between High Wycombe and Marlow, walking through a mixture of beechwoods and scenic pastoral farmland.

The walk starts from the free public car park in Lane End and where there are the only public toilets on the route.

From here we set off south eastwards through farmland and woods with two steep climbs, two stiles and  some short sections of narrow road walking.

We will have a picnic lunch on Bovingdon Green, which is just about halfway and where there are a few benches. There is also a pub, The Royal Oak, a few 100 metres away.
