We are the Bath Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular, undulating, autumnal walk starting in Leighterton, a handsome stone settlement on the Cotswold plateau. The walk continues along lanes and across fields, and then follows a public footpath through Westonbirt Arboretum (with its autumn colours) before returning to Leighterton.
Suitable footwear is recommended as it may be muddy in the fields. Please bring a drink and a light picnic lunch for short refreshment stops. The village pub, The Royal Oak, is closed at present so for refreshments after the the walk, the Holford Arms. Knockdown GL8 8QY, is a very short drive from Leighterton.
