Overview

An undulating walk through Kent, the Garden of England, passing by two castles, a stately home, rivers, ponds and three lovely villages: the National Trust village of Chiddingstone; Penshurst with its half-timbered houses; and Leigh (pronounced 'Lie').  Lunch is a picnic or cafe in Chiddingstone.  Joint leaders:  Angela Horrocks and Maggie Wheeler
