Overview

From Oakridge Lynch down Strawberry Banks, up through the woods and across to France Lynch, down to Dimmel Dale. Along the canal to Chalford, up to Chalford Hill back into France Lynch and eventually back up to Oakridge. Coffee/snack stop only. Quite a lot of ups and downs, some steep, but also some level walking. Mix of footpaths (some a bit rough and muddy), fields, canal path and some walking on minor roads. One notoriously muddy and slippery bit of downhill so poles are probably a good idea. Also several stiles likely to be muddy/slippy. Butchers Arms serves food. Might need to pre-order.

Local walk grade - moderate pace, terrain 2 hilly and level mix.
