We are the Hike on Lancashire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A fantastic walk which includes Pontcysllte aqueduct which is a World Heritage Site as the longest and highest aqueduct in the country. For those with a head for heights we will be walking over the aqueduct. For those happy to look from afar there is also an option for this.
We will also be visiting the ruins of the medieval castle- Castell DInas Bran and walking on Offas Dyke and the Panorama Way.
We will be returning to Llangollen via canal after an outward length on the hillside above the valley.
As days are short at this time of year we will be leaving promptly at 10:30.
Llangollen Wharf, Wharf Hill, Llangollen Please meet outside of the wharf buildings (this is the area where boats trips are booked). Car parking is available on pay and display car parks in town. Please allow time to park and walk to the start point.
