The walk will return Eastwards as far as Laques from where it will follow the Wales Coast Path around Wharley point back to Llansteffan via Scott's Bay & Saint Anton's well The views around Wharley point are superb given good weather. A stroll around the castle is a great idea for those with the energy for it after a wondorous walk.
The usually copious car parking at Llansteffan maybe noticeably reduced, as there was significant engineering work taking place at the time of the reccy 3rd March 2025. Car sharing would ease the problem, save on fuel & the planet. Contact the walk leader for further information.
There are toilets & refreshments at the start, although food & drink for a 5 hour walk should be taken.
There will be mud on some parts of the route so boots should be worn.
The weather was superb on the day of the reccy, this may not be the case on the day so a water proof and some warm clothing are considered essential.
