Overview

Starting at Llanthony Priory we head up the Vale of Ewyas before taking a steady climb up to meet the Cambrian Way at Bal Bach. A quick excursion to Bal Mawr, then follow the Cambrian Way south before cutting across the valley east to round Cwmyoy and head up Hatterral Hill to join the Offa's Dyke Path. Depending on time, either head back to the Priory via Beacons Way or make a longer loop returning via a steep descent off Loxidge Tump. Tough walk at pace so please only attend if mountain fit. *** no dogs allowed *** If bad weather is forecast please check the group website (fodramblers.org.uk) to confirm that the walk is going ahead
