Take the A470 heading for the heads of the valley road, from the Hardwick Roundabout on the eastern edge of Abergavenny, take the A465 towards Hereford. After 5 miles turn left for Llanvihangel Crucorney. Go past the Skirrid Inn and immediately turn left. At the bottom on the hill follow the road rond to the left and continue through Stanton to the Queens Head on your right. Just after the pub take the lane on your left, ( ignore the car park at the bottom on your right as you turn into the lane, this is for Queens Head patrons and does incur a fee or parking charge if not paid at the pub). About 500 meters up the hill on your right you will see a clearing in the trees where you will find the car park.
