Lon Gwyrfai Rhyd Ddu to Beddgelert D5.5 by Alison

It is a gentle path through the forest which unfortunately has lost many trees from recent storms. I am allowing an extra 3/4 hour in case of hold ups and if we arrive in Beddgelert in plenty of time the Prince Llewelyn pub is open, and also the village shop, or you can do a little extra walk beside the river. There is a bus at 3.02 back to Rhyd Ddu which you will need to take unless you want to bring two cars and leave one in Beddgelert (or, if you are feeling fit and it's a nice day, why not enjoy a nice stroll back to Rhyd Ddu?) Grade D 5 .5 miles 336ft ascent
