Out SW and West via Owletts Farm to join the Vanguard Way. South then East to join the High Weald Landscape Trail via North Clays and Forest Way before North via Bolebroke Castle and back to the lay-by via the part exposed Roman Road.

Walk starts at the large lay-by on the LHS just BEFORE Holtye Golf club and the closed White Horse Inn and the road opposite to Cowden. Just 100 yards past a 50 mph road sign RHS and “SLOW bends” LHS. Parking: May need to double park depending on number of shared cars.
