Overview

In 1938 Landscape artist Eric Ravilious visited Capel Y Ffin in the Elwas Valley. The result was some of his most famous paintings. This walk attempts to put you in Ravilious's shoes looking for the locations of these paintings. The start point is at Llanthony Priory and the walk though strenuous avoids climbing to the high ridges that define this beautiful valley.
