Oswestry Ramblers welcome people who enjoy walking and the countryside. We walk twice a week mainly in Shropshire and Wales and help improve local footpaths.

A circular and predominantly flat route from Queens Head , following sections of the Montgomery Canal tow path combined with walking along quiet lanes and surrounding fields. The route provides easy walking however there are likely to be muddy sections so walking poles are likely to be helpful. There are a small number of stiles on the route.
The route followed will be slightly different to the one followed on 19 January. Following the recce further details may be added.
Please bring lunch, snacks and drinks for the two stops included.
Public toilets should be available by the tow path at Maesbury Marsh close to The Navigation Inn.

Limited public parking at Queens Head so car sharing is encouraged .
