Overview

A 13 mile walk starting from Hartfield village where we start with a nice climb up to the well named Top Hill Farm before gradually heading downhill to the Medway at Ashurst. We then encounter our second climb of the day to Stone Cross Hill where we are rewarded with fine views down towards the Medway and the Ashdown Forest. We then head along the Wealdway to Withyham, with its delightful church and rectory, before heading back to Hartfield via more of the Wealdway, Pooh Sticks Bridge and fine countryside views. This walk is hosted by West Kent Walking Group as part of the High Weald Walking Festival.
