Overview

Please note this walk has been moved to Sunday 8th December (from Saturday 7th Dec)

This is a linear walk from Marks Tey Station, through fields and forests to the pretty village of Bures.  We pass through Great Tey and White Colne on the way, as well as Chalkney Wood.

Please bring a picnic and good shoes as it could be muddy.   Pub stop in Bures at the end if that interests you.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a station to station walk to improve public transport access.

Marks Tey is on the London-Norwich/Clacton Line and is well served with trains.

When we finish, there are regular trains back to Marks Tey from Bures.
