We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.
Meet 10am outside Court Garden House in Higginson Park. Use Pound Lane Car Park SL7 2AE or limited free parking is available in a lay-by on Lower Pound Lane. (Higginson Park end). After visiting the bronze statue of Sir Steve Redgrave we begin our 10 mile circular walk making our way along a pleasant stretch of the River Thames. We then follow a mixture of footpaths through woodland, meadows, nature reserves and Marlow Common which do include a couple of climbs and descents. We will be pausing for coffee at Harleyford Golf Club and stopping for a pub lunch or picnic in Bovingdon Green.
