Start at Martley church for our 5.25 mile easy walk, although there are 12 stiles, 2 of which are a bit rickety.
We start by initially following the circular route walk but then go off piste passing through the lovely grounds of a wonderful manor house past romany caravans, windows over a pond, beehives, chickens, Canada geese and finally a telephone mast! The walk is fairly flat with just a bit of mud subject to no more rain...
Please bring a drink and snack for our usual stop.
Lunch opportunities are the new cafe at the Crown Inn, Martley, the Cob House or the Mason's arms, both of which are circa 1 mile away. Nothing formally arranged.
Free parking available behind St Peter's church, Martley.
