Overview

This 5-mile trail, devised by the City of London Archaeological Trust Trail, guides us to remains from the period 1066 to 1500. Medieval Londoner also built wharves and warehouses and reclaimed land from the Thames. At the height of this period, 80,000 lived within the City of London walls.
Toilets available at start, midway and end of walk. Pub or picnic lunch near the Tower. Should finish by 15.30
