Overview

A new walk for the group, starting near Rowarth, where we head towards Mellor Cross and the trig point.  Down into New Mills and along the Millenium Way returning via the Sett Valley Trail back to the start.

From Marple Bridge follow Longhurst Lane towards Mellor. Go past the Devonshire Arms, the Odd Fellows and up the hill to the summit. Park on road at the juntion of 5 roads (Shiloh, Moor End Road, Mellor Road, Bogguard Road and Castle Edge).
