The walk starts from the Miller & Carter pub on the road to Edinburgh, going over Cramond Brig and along the lovely wooded River Almond Walkway to Cramond beach to see the causeway and take a stroll along the promenade, returning by a slightly different route.
There are a couple of sets of steps on the Almond Walkway.
Toilets at Cramond beach, next to the causeway.
Option of refreshments after the walk at Craigie's Farm & Deli nearby.
Kinross Park & Ride
The Miller & Carter pub is 5 mins by car from South Queensferry, along the A90 towards Edinburgh. Take the side road just before the pub on the left and park on the side road (Cramond Brig Toll) next to the pub car park.
