An easy linear walk from Middlesbrough Railway Station to the Seaside at Redcar, follows railways & pipelines through sprawling post industrial hinterland, giving walkers an awesome & interesting impression of Teesside' s former steel industry.
For those who wish to - Plan is to catch the train to Middlesbrough from Northallerton or wherever you are coming from if a railway station is handy for you to get to & then catch the train back from Redcar to wherever is the closest station to you
There is a train leaving Northallerton 09.07 am and arriving Middlesbrough if on time 09.38am & we have a few options back from Redcar - departing Redcar @15.58 pm arriving back into Northallerton at approx 16.40 this is all subject to trains being on time. With a senior railcard fare for anytime return from Northallerton is approx £10.00
Although the terrain is relatively easy & undulating walking, because of the distance of the walk I have graded this as moderate
