A short sharpener prior to our AGM and Sunday lunch in Bere Regis.
This walk almost entirely features Dorset’s farming heritage as we encounter hedgerows and grassy or crop-filled fields and sheep and cow-grazed pasture to the max, apart from briefly edging the busy A35 and our start/finish in the village of Milborne St Andrew. Substantially flat apart from the odd dip and rise of the mostly gentle contours in this area, and with few stiles, it’s fairly leisurely!
We will travel the six minutes afterwards to meet at the Royal Oak in Bere Regis.
Note: our group walks quite briskly; while this route isn’t demanding of terrain or distance, if you have any concerns about fitness/capability please contact the walk leader in advance.
