We are the Biggar Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a 4 mile circular walk from Manor Bridge, following the footpath along the disused railway to the sheltered little Hamlet of Lyne where a footpath leads to a crossing over the Tweed. It then joins a driveway to Barns House, passing the 16th Century Barns Tower. The final part of the walk is along the riverside path which leads back to the startpoint.
This is the traditional Biggar Ramblers last walk of the year which will include mince pies and refreshments.
Biggar Corn Exchange
When approaching Peebles from Biggar on A72, turn right opposite the entrance to Edson Quarry. Park on the road by Manor Bridge
