We are the West Midlands Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Undulating walk around classic limestone scenery. From the charming village of Monyash we'll visit the disused Magpie lead mine, with its well preserved workings, then cross pastures to the village of Taddington. After lunch we'll climb to Sough Top, one of the highest points in the area at 438m, before heading back along the Limestone Way back to the start.
By the village cross outside the Bulls Head, Monyash. Free car park available approx 50 metres along Chapel Street. Liftshare available at 9.00am from service road outside Harvester pub, A38/A453/A446 Bassets Pole roundabout, near Sutton Coldfield (take A446 exit)
