Overview

The walk is through meadows and woodland with extensive views, and it includes part of the Old Coach Road from Canterbury to Mayfield Palace. There are several steep ups and downs.

There may be some mud in places and there are tree roots to look out for on woodland paths. There are several stiles. Poles/sticks may be of assistance. The "elevenses" stop will be in woodland close to Mayfield Grange.
