Overview

The walk is mainly flat with a one gentle climb of about quarter mile leading up to Buxted Park. The total walk is about 4.5 miles and involves about half a mile at the start from the car park via quiet residential streets until we reach Hempstead Mill. From there it is woodland and meadow until the last half mile which is through streets again to return to the carpark.
