We are the Uttlesford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk of approximately 6 miles takes us along Catons Lane, Westley Lane, alongside Grimsditch Wood and returns to Saffron Walden by the Harcamlow Way. Once in Saffron Walden we will pass the castle and the Old Sun Inn which both feature in the Saffron Walden Town Trail.
For those wishing to join the leader for lunch this will be at the Temeraire, a Wetherspoon pub where booking and preordering is not required.
This walk around Saffron Walden will start from Swan Meadow carpark, postcoce CB10 1DA. Please note that parking charges apply see attached photo. Meet the leader in the bus and coach parking area adjacent to the main carpark.
