Overview

Heading South, we walk through the estate down to the Rugby Club and the Wansbeck River where we turn West to head towards Mitford Castle.  We then turn North West across the countryside to Pigdon where we head towards Low Heighley before turning back to Morpeth.

This walk can be wet and muddy, so gaiters and a stick are recommended.

There will be a coffee stop en route. We may also stop for lunch but there are no natural seating along the way, so only if the walkers on the day want to stop. Plenty of eateries in Morpeth.

This walk is lead by Justin Pearce.
