Overview

From Boundary Lane Mossley we walk up to and along the track on the ridge of Congleton edge, with grand views over the Cheshire Plain. At Nick I’ th’ Hill we walk down towards the cricket club to join Lambert’s Lane over the canal and onwards towards Glebe farm. From there we stroll across meadows to the canal which we follow a short while before going up the South Cheshire Way after Ackers Crossing. After reaching the mast at the top close to the Old Man of Mow we take the Gritstone trail along the ridge before cutting away and down across meadows and fields to Castle farm and thence back to the cars via Dreamcatchers meadows.
