Tiger Bay Ramblers (TBR) is a walking group for people of working age. It is based in Cardiff but walks across South Wales and beyond.
A moderate walk from Upper Boat to the top of Mynydd Meio (322m). Starting from Gell-Hiron Industrial Estate near Tesco, Upper Boat, we will climb through fields to reach Mynydd Meio Common, before making our way along the Rhymney Valley Ridgeway Footpath towards the small village of Groeswen. We will return to the start point via the Taff Trail.
Exit the A470 at the Upper Boat Interchange. From the North it's the 1st exit off the roundabout. From the South it's the 6th exit. Head up the hill, at the roundabout it's the second exit (straight on). After 150m, park at the side of the road.
