Overview

Our walk starts from the Sparrows Nest, Whaplode Road. We'll head north to Dip Farm. Then south along the sea wall to the coastguard lookout. We'll cross the river and return via the Gull Wing bridge and the disused railway path. The last "delight" is the naval memorial park.

We'll reverse the walk if it's windy and cold. The walk can be reduced to 3.5 or 5 miles depending on our direction.
