Overview

 A choice of 2 circular walks from Nowton Park (Bury St Edmunds).

3 miles - woodland walk, quiet roads and paths to Hardwick Heath and back. Walk starts at 10.00am and finishes by 12 noon. Leisurely and slow. Leader: Tom.

7.5 miles via Rushbrooke - walk starts at 10.00am and finishes by 2pm. Moderate. Leader: Val.

 

Parking £3 for over 2 hours. Free for permit holders.

Lovely Nowton Park provides a fitting setting for two New Year's Day walks. Out into the nearby countryside on the longer walk to Rushbrooke and back. Or for a shorter walk to Hardwick Heath. A little muddy in places so come prepared.
