Overview

We set off left from the Coach and Horses pub and walk along a minor road until we turn off and reach open countryside on what becomes the Harcamlow Way alongside Debden Water. We pass through or near several farms, fields of sheep, touch the edge of Howe Wood, walk through Cabbage Wood, past Waldegraves and continue until we rejoin the Harcamlow Way. Making our way very carefully down a very steep and potentially slippy hill, we find ourselves on the opposite side of Debden Water from where we began. After negotiating a short incline and then a long but not steep descent, we come back through a scenic little wood to our starting point and back to the pub.
