This is a walk to Sandon and back. The route out is past Bachelor's Wood and Friar's Wood, returning past Roe Green, Redhill and Shaw Green. We will see some changes since we last walked this route and the timing is planned to have a good chance to see the bluebells and wild garlic in flower. The dry spring means the ground is no longer waterlogged, but walkers ought to wear stout footwear.
Please park at Mill End Plants at the bottom end of the car park and double up so that plenty of space is left for their regular customers. In exchange for the free parking we are expected to have a snack at their tea room (the cakes are recommended) or to buy a plant.
