A lovely leisurely walk from Linby Church along a disused railway line and into Newstead Abbey grounds. Stunning views of the lake and Abbey. Coffee stop near to Newstead Abbey cafe. We will continue to Papplewick Church where we will picnic and then walk back across the fields to Linby. Mostly good footpaths and tracks but there may be sections that are wet and muddy.

There is a £2 charge for pedestrians entering Newstead Abbey grounds which is payable at the cafe.
Meet on Church Lane outside St Michael's Church Please park considerately on the roadside. Car share where possible.
