From Nine Mile Burn car park we follow the sign to Balerno to follow the line of the Roman road from York to the Firth of Forth skirting along the side of Braid Law towards West Kip and returning via Monk'd Rig.

Good paths with excellent views.

From Currie Car Park - head to City Bypass towards Lothianburn exit and heading towards Biggar. Go along the road for approximately 8 miles (passing Silverburn) and turn right on Nine Mile Burn sign along a small road and the car park is on the left at the end of the road.Nine Mile Burn car park.
