Starting from Market Place we walk through the town to the Fosse Way. After crossing the road we walk over several fields with pleasant views of the surrounding countryside until we reach the quaint and lovely village of Hampnett. We walk through this village with its Church and a mixture of small and large houses. We then continue over several more fields until we reach a farm where we have our refreshment break. Continuing along a quiet country road and then over more fields until once again we cross the Fosse Way and head along several wide tracks near fields back to the start.
