Overview

The walk starts from the top car park at Oaks Park, heads along Freedown lane to Banstead Common, around the common (33 butterfly species have previously been spotted) and then we work our way back to Oaks Park. The walk is mainly woodland paths and open common land. The walk incorporates some of the London loop and the Sutton Countryside Walk. There are no stiles or hills but gentle gradients up and down.
