The walk starts in Ogborn St George and has some remote walking with big skies and expansive views of the surrounding countryside. The distinctive white chalk Ridgeway path weaving its way through a host of wild flowers and other vegetation. Leaving the village we pass St Georges Church, cross the former Roman Road and head toward Liddington Castle fort. From here we pass Fox Hill, cross Wanborough Plain and visit King Alfred's Castle on Swinley Down before arriving at the pretty Ashbury Village. This walk is part of the Ridgeway series.
