We are the Rochdale Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Although a short walk (5 miles) this is classed as moderate as there are a number of steep stiles and a long incline as well as a short steeper section, as we seek the Starfish. There is one tricky stream crossing after a scenic reservoir path start. The moorland paths are often muddy but offer extensive views of the Calderdale area from the high ground.
Please be aware that dogs (with the exception of Assistance Dogs) are not allowed on our walks.
Meet in Baitings Dam car park, just off the A58 heading to Rochdale in line with the wall of the dam. Free car park. On road parking also available.
