ORRIN FALLS, RIVER AND DAM

Park at the Singleton Distillery car park in Muir of Ord (IV6 7UJ) and then we will minimise cars to drive 10mins to the walk start ( limited parking). The walk starts near Aultgowrie Walking on mostly tarmac track with a small detour on a path to see the beautiful Orrin falls. It’s a linear walk following the river Orrin all the way to the dam which gives you a nice view over the Orrin Reservoir. Most of the track is well above the river and undulates over the hills. You have an open vista all along the way with lovely views of the surrounding hills. The Singleton Distillery café stays open until 5pm so we can have a welcome cup of tea to finish off !
