Overview

A pleasant walk in the Kent countryside along the North Downs Way. We start out in the village of Otford, climbing up towards Kemsing. We then pass Wrotham and the turn for Trottiscliffe, on undulating trails, before starting our long descent into the finishing village of Cuxton. Undulating but not generally steep. The pace will be brisk but not fast.

Please bring a packed lunch. Please use toilets on the train - we may not pass facilities at a convenient time along the way, and lunch is likely to be a stop on the trail itself. There's one pub (The White Hart) in today's finishing village before heading back to London.

Terrain: Trails, fields, and occasional woodlands.

Travel: Take 09.29 from Charing Cross (Waterloo East 09.32, London Bridge 09.38), arrive Otford 10.07.

If travelling from St Mary Cray, take 09.31 arriving Otford 09.48.
