From Littleborough, the walk will rise up onto moorland with unparalleled views. A variety of terrains, from canal towpath to woodland and rocky bridleways will be encountered - something for everyone!
As ever, Pennine walks can be wet and muddy underfoot even on dry days, so walkers are advised to dress appropriately for the conditions, particularly in regard to footwear. Walking poles can be helpful in slippery conditions. Bring a packed lunch and drink, as refreshments will only be available in Littleborough after the walk has ended.
